8th Grade Workshop
As a Christian Community we have created a wonderful 8th grade workshop at St. Gabriel's Church on Wednesday, November 4th.
The day will begin at 9am and we kindly ask that you drop your child off at 8:45am at St. Gabriel's so we can begin on time. Mr. John Rocoszak will facilitate various team building activities throughout the day. Students are asked to bring a bag lunch and should wear comfortable yet appropriate clothing. There will be a closing Mass at 1pm with Msgr. Fuhrman. We encourage any family members who would like to share in the celebration of the Eucharist to join us for Mass.
The cost for this event is $10. Kindly send the payment and signed permission slip in with your child.

2009 Saint John’s Fashion Show Program
(December 1st @ Woodcliff Lake Hilton)
Dear Parents;
Our Fashion Show is a fundraiser to help support activities for St John’s Academy as well as for our 8th grade graduating class. This exciting event is an evening full of fun which we encourage you all to attend with family and friends! Please help support our efforts by being a part of our 2009 Fashion Show Program. Send a special message to your 8th grader or the SJA 2010 class. Also, if you own a business, we encourage you to send in your business cards use this opportunity to advertise. Please note this is a tax deductible donation. Pricing is as follows:

Girls should plan on meeting at Camille's between 2 & 4pm to try on and choose a dress for the fashion show. The dress will be tagged and removed from the floor. The dresses will be picked up the day before the fashion show and returned to the store the day after the show by the chairpersons. If you have any problems getting your daughter to the store on one of these dates, we will be more than happy to take them ourselves. Please understand, if alterations of any kind are needed, the dress will have to be purchased. If you feel that this may be the case, we recommend that you go to the store in advance of these dates so you will have enough time for alterations before the show. Also, it is IMPERATIVE that you contact Andrea Squiccimarri (201-981-2251) or Mary Pat Podest (201-446-2081) before purchasing any dress to make sure no other girls have purchased it. Again, please remember, unless you are purchasing the dress, you will not be allowed to select a dress until November 28th.
